As a community, it is becoming popular again to find useful ways for using up left-overs, but don’t just think food – think fabric!
Using up narrow strips of left over fabrics by plaiting them and then sewing them together in a traditional fashion turns them into useful everyday items such as carry baskets or floor rugs.
